ADRIAN GOMIS EXPOSITO. Hi Max! It’s a pleasure to chat with you! To start, can you tell us about your upbringing in Ukraine and what was it like for you to move to Warsaw, Poland, three years ago?

MAX KRUGER. Hello there! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do this interview. I moved out of Ukraine when I was 19 years old, which was 7 years ago. To be honest, I never expected to end up moving to Poland; it was never in my plans. However, life sometimes brings unexpected opportunities. When the pandemic happened, I came to Warsaw to visit my friend for a week or so, and I ended up staying for three years. Warsaw turned out to be a nice place to be based and travel the world from.

A.G.E. You started your modelling career pretty young. How did you get into the industry and what motivated you to do so? How have you developed in modelling now that you’re 26 years old?

M. K. Growing up, I didn't like being on camera, and I was pretty shy, to be honest. But when I was around 18 years old, I started looking for ways to make money while travelling at the same time. That's when I decided to go for a contract in Turkey as a dancer since I was into break-dancing at that time. However, I also wanted to try something new and overcome my shyness in some way. To do so, I attended a modelling school, which turned out to be a terrible experience. Despite that, I decided to arrange my first test shoot and got paid for it. Over the next 8-9 months, I kept doing more shoots and sent them to agencies. Eventually, an agency found me my first placement in Shanghai as a model. So, instead of dancing in Turkey, I went to China as a model, and that's when my life took a new direction.

A.G.E. The pandemic brought about significant changes worldwide and it also affect you personally as you've mentioned. How did it impact your modelling career, and how did it make you end up back in Poland during this time?

M. K. The pandemic indeed brought a lot of changes for everyone, and my time working in Asia came to an end. At least for now, I'm not planning on going back to Asia and I am focusing more on the European market.

A.G.E. Being away from your home country for several years can be both exciting and challenging. How has living in Poland and travelling through Asia influenced your personal and professional growth?

M. K. Living abroad has definitely made me a better person, more independent, and more mature. Of course, I miss my family, whom I haven't seen for almost three years now. Experiences like this help shape us into better versions of ourselves.

A.G.E. With your love for sports, it's impressive to hear about your achievements in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Thai boxing. How did you get involved in these martial arts, and how do they complement your modelling career? Does callisthenics help you shape your body?

M. K. Some time ago, I was going through a low point in my life due to the pandemic and other issues. A friend of mine invited me to try Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but I wasn't sure at first. Eventually, I forced myself to give it a try, and it changed my mindset and gave me a new perspective on life. I believe that sports not only benefit the body but also have a profound effect on the mind, which impacts all aspects of life. I recommend everyone to engage in various sports to shape both their body and mind.

A.G.E. As someone who loves travelling and spending time with friends, do you have any particular travel destinations on your bucket list, and how do you maintain connections with friends while leading a busy lifestyle?

M. K. I would love to visit countries in South America. The food, culture, and people there really fascinate me, so I definitely plan to go there soon. As for my friends, I always make time for them no matter how busy my lifestyle gets.

A.G.E. Your latest modelling job has been with Yummy with the incredible story you shot with Sasha Olsen for Yummy 7. How was it for you shooting naked and how did you feel during the shooting? Were you excited about this project?

M. K. To be honest, I wasn't sure at first whether I wanted to do it since I had never done a fully nude shoot before, and it wasn't something I had considered. However, when I got the opportunity, I thought, why not? Let's see what happens. In the end, I really loved the pictures, and the experience helped me accept myself fullier.

A.G.E. One of the most unique things about Yummy is that there’s no censorship at all, meaning that models go full-frontal. How does it feel to see the final images since this is your first fully nude shoot?

M. K. I appreciate the concept of Yummy, as we all are born naked and shouldn't be ashamed of our bodies in any way. So, for me, it was like a challenge. In the end, it turned out to be a good experience.

A.G.E. Maybe you’ve thought about this before, but I would like to know what comes to your mind when you think about the word yummy.

M. K. Something tasty and sweet, something everyone is curious about the taste of.

A.G.E. You seem like a really active and energetic person with a super young spirit. What role does sexiness play in your life? Would you consider yourself someone who loves to feel sexy and looks for that spicy part of life?

M. K. I believe that sexual energy is essential in life, not just for the act of sex itself, but also for channelling it into different aspects of life. Controlling this energy is vital; otherwise, it can control you, leading to impulsive actions. Sexual energy is one of the most powerful things in the universe.

A.G.E. Throughout the years, you must have learned quite a few things about your sexuality. What's something new you've discovered recently, or what was the most life-changing experience for you?

M. K. The most life-changing realization for me was that I was in control of my sexual energy. As I mentioned earlier, being aware of this energy is crucial; otherwise, it can lead to negative and destructive outcomes.

A.G.E. What do you find attractive and sexy in other people? Do you prefer to focus on physical appearance or does the attitude make a difference?

M. K. I find it attractive when people have a fire in their eyes, full of life and abundance. When they know that life has a greater purpose beyond material wealth.

A.G.E. Lastly, you've achieved a lot at a relatively young age. What are your long-term goals and aspirations, both in your modelling career and in the sports you are passionate about?

M. K. My biggest and most challenging goal is to become the best version of myself possible. I strive never to give up, no matter what challenges come my way.
