Hi Fernando! It’s so lovely chatting with you. How are you doing?
Hi there, thanks for the lovely chat, it’s a pleasure to chat with you. I'm doing very well, thanks!
Could you briefly introduce yourself so we can all know a bit about you?
First of all, nice to meet you! I'm Fernando Pessiquelli, I'm 27 years old, and I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I'm a fashion model, actor, host of a TV show, and also an economics graduate.
How was it growing up in Mogi Guaçu, a city in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil? Which is your sweetest childhood memories and what does Brazil mean to you?
I particularly like my hometown. I have many good memories with my friends with who I still keep in touch and my family still lives there. When I have a free weekend, I always go to spend some time with them. I love Brazil, I love the Brazilian kindness and the places. Brazil is a kind of mix of everything, and the Brazilians are very warm and lively.
You began modeling pretty young. What made you start in this industry so young, modeling at the age of 16 in São Paulo and Vitória and starting your international career in Milan at the age of 17? Tell us about this.
Since I was a child, I wanted financial independence. I was brought up knowing that if I wanted something, I would have to go after it. I got an opportunity to shoot for a local magazine in my hometown. Then the stylist asked an agency to make an appointment for me in Sao Paulo, and I haven’t stopped since.
What do you like the most about being a model and what do you think is the worst part?
The best thing is you can always improve and renew yourself while enjoying new jobs. Also, you should always be healthy and exercise. These things give me great pleasure. The worst part I believe it's about your ego. Many models get lost. Also, the fashion industry, like some others professions, is inconstant. There may be seasons when you work a lot and others not so much.
You’re also an actor, which you say helps you with the variety of modeling jobs you do and you also host a TV show about tourism in Brazil. Did you also start acting really early in life as you did with modeling or is it something that came later in life? Why did you begin acting?
As soon I came back from modeling in Milan, I decided to improve myself. That was in 2014 when I took up acting lessons until I graduated in 2016. Well, there are many advertising jobs, and the clients ask for something with more personality, so it ends up being a nice complement to my career.
Besides all this, you also hold a university degree in Economics. Have you ever worked in that field? Why did you study Economics and how has that helped you in life?
This basically came from my family. In the beginning, they didn’t understand how fashion could change my life. They never had contact with the fashion industry, so they asked me to not stop studying. I never worked in the economic market, but I believe that supports me a lot in my life because I have financial education and this is essential for my financial self-development, my saving money and how to choose good investments for my future. I believe it has benefits.
You’re one of the covers of Yummyzine Three. How does that make you feel?
Every model dreams of being on the cover of a great magazine. I feel fulfilled and grateful for this opportunity. I hope I’m on the right way and thriving for more!
Your shoot for this issue is just so yummy, taking a shower outdoors. How was this experience for you? How do you feel posing naked?
It was a nice shoot, right!? I felt very comfortable. I don’t have a problem shooting full nude. Of course, I chose a professional staff that I trusted. The photographer Thi Martini is a longtime friend of mine, so it ends up getting so much easier. To be honest, I think is basically how we all came into this world, and how we will leave it. All naked!
On to the yummy questions, what does the word yummy mean to you?
For me, it means something to be desired, something beautiful, and also something people feel horny about!
What would you consider the most attractive and interesting feature other people find so attractive about you? What do you find attractive about other people? What’s the first thing you see?
I believe my smile is the most attractive feature - and my abs! Just kidding! I am very attracted to personalities. Usually, people who have strong personalities catch my attention a lot.
If we were to peek into your bedside table, what could we find there?
The mobile charger, condoms, gum, a book, water, a watch, and sunglasses.
Would you consider yourself a sexy and attractive person? What role does passion play in your daily life?
Yes, a lot! I like to be attractive to other people so I'm taking care of myself daily.
When it comes to sexy time, are you a naughty and fun guy? Do you like to have fun in bed?
I love it! I like very much to give pleasure in bed. I believe it has no limits, it is the greatest intimacy we are going to have with our partner. It’s about being skin-to-skin. I consider myself pretty naughty!
Lastly, what does the future hold for you? What do you hope to be doing a couple of years from now?
I wish to be working even more as a fashion model. I really want to make a Brazilian soap opera to be even better in my profession. Also maybe make new Yummy covers!
